Paul Wilson

Community Musician

Paul trained at music college and after excursions into the worlds of classical, jazz, pop, medieval and new music, he started his career in folk music. He is a singer, music arranger and songwriter. Paul is co-founder of Wren Music with Marilyn Tucker with whom he also sings as a duo, playing piano accordion and guitar.

Paul facilitates Wren’s music sessions on a variety of instruments. He researches songs and music and arranges music for many groups, especially the choirs. Paul also supervises the younger team members.

Paul is involved with MenSing, our men’s singing group, Get Rhythmical, a Torbay based group for looked after children, and other vocal and instrumental projects.

Paul’s leisure activities include cycling, reading, cooking and gardening. He also plays blues and boogie piano along with Paul Tucker and friends, occasionally appearing as the Swaylers – you might meet them at the South Zeal beer Festival!
