Thank you for your interest in working with Wren Music.

Community Musician

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilful community musician to join our growing and dynamic creative team.

Closing date 12 midday Wednesday 5 January 2022

You will join an organisation in transition to a flat structure, one universal salary and consensus working. You will join a team of musicians who each take the lead on different projects and music groups with communities across Devon. The creative team is supported by an office team who manage finance, fundraising, promotions, contracting, venues, evaluation and HR – freeing musicians to focus on the music and on the people who take part with us.

The contract will be for a minimum of three workshops/events per week. The precise workload of your role will be shaped by the skills and experience you bring. Our existing team of musicians works flexibly and collaboratively, and we will be able to create a role which suits you. Details of how to apply are outlined in the application pack, which you can download here: Community Musician Application Pack Wren Music

We are committed to equality and diversity, and look forward to receiving applications from any musician who meets the essential attributes of the person specification. Recognising under-representation in our team, we particularly encourage applications from:

  • musicians from minority ethnicities (including Black, Asian and/or Gypsy Traveller communities)
  • musicians who identify as male or gender non-binary, and trans musicians

We are excited to welcome a new member to our team, and look forward to considering your application.
