Would you like to join our Callington Mayfest Choir and perform at the town’s Mayfest event in May? We’ll be enjoying favourite songs from over the 10 years of Callington MayFest as well as learning some new tunes and harmonies together.
The first workshop is happening in the Methodist Church Hall in Haye Road, Callington, at 10.30am on Saturday 1 April. Weekly rehearsals then take place on 8, 15, 22 April and 6 May.
Callington MayFest takes place on 13 May, and we’ll be performing throughout the day.
Sarah Owen from Wren Music said: “Those who are completely new to singing are welcome, as well as those who may be more experienced. Our approach at Wren Music is that we wholeheartedly believe everyone can sing – they just need to give themselves a chance.”
Wren Music has been involved with Callington Mayfest for several years and has been running these singing workshops since 2017.
