With events in the Auditorium, Studio 1, Studio 2, Cinema, Workshop, and the Bar & Foyer, the programme includes events for all ages and abilities to get involved in. It is designed so people can choose which ones they’d like to attend, and we hope you’ll want to stay all day! The Exeter Phoenix bar and kitchen will be open throughout.

With Sing & Play for children under five and their families, panel discussions about concepts in folk music, a Singing for the Terrified workshop and an afternoon Ceilidh, we hope there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

There’s even the chance to learn how to play the bones, a percussion instrument dating back to ancient times, and a join in a commemorative crafting workshop. There are also events showcasing some of the work Wren Music has done during the past 40 years.

In the Foyer there will be displays about the charity, including the Top 40 – 40 tunes and songs that hold a particularly special place in the story of Wren Music.

The day ends with a Celebration Concert in the Auditorium, with performances from Wren Music’s community groups and team of professional musicians. The concert features a ‘Wren Music Overture’ played by our new Folk Sinfonietta, with snippets of all the items in the Wren Music Top 40.
