When: Saturday 13 May 2023 ; Saturday 3 June 2023 ; Saturday 24 June 2023 ; Saturday 22 July 2023.
Time: 10am – 12.30pm.
Where: Wren Music, Ebenezer Hall, North Street, Okehampton EX20 1AR.
What: This is a new Wren Music orchestra for all abilities, with absolute beginners welcome. There are four rehearsal groups, and members can attend each rehearsal as ‘pay as you go’. There is no requirement to commit to all the rehearsals.
The sessions:
From 10am to 10.30am, you’ll be able to explore the Wren Music instrument storeroom to choose your instrument, so this is a chance to try something completely new. Wren Music leaders will help you to learn the basics, and there is the opportunity to hire an instrument if you wish.
From 10.30 to 12.30, the focus is on playing and having fun together. There are no performances planned for this group on its own, but members will be invited to join in the performance with Wren’s weekly orchestra members at the 40th party at Exeter Phoenix on Saturday 29 July.
Payment: £10 per session.
