A free evening of midsummer celebration, with music, storytelling, dancing and a campfire.
Children welcome.
A barbecue is available from 4.30pm until 6pm, at a cost of £5 per person (cash).
When you arrive you can help add some flowers to our specially made flower arch. We’ll make our way to the ‘stage’ (near the top gate) to hear some songs and music from Marilyn Tucker and Paul Wilson, followed by a performance from Okehampton’s own West Devon Folk Choir.
After this sit-down start, we’ll enjoy some ceilidh dancing in and around the flower arch. As part of the dancing we’ll move across the site to settle ourselves around the campfire.
Storyteller Katy Cawkwell will take us on an adventure with words, leading to a singing and playing session around the fire finishing at 8pm.
