Our Wren Music MenSing Choir are spreading their wings this month, with a concert in Bath.
The choir are heading to Bath on Saturday 13 May in a musical collaboration with the Bath Folksingers Choir, led by Matt Norman.
The choirs will be performing a set of six songs each, before joining forces to sing two songs together at the end.
The rehearsal and concert venue is The Parish Hall at St John The Evangelist Church in South Parade, near the city centre. With Bath Festival under way, the city is bound to be buzzing.
Wren Music professional musician Paul Wilson will be conducting the choir in Bath. He said: “It’s been amazing for us to be able to link up with Matt and his choir in Bath, and it has offered MenSing a wonderful opportunity to perform up there.
“We’ve wanted to do this for quite some time now, so it’s great that we can finally get to do it.”
MenSing was launched by Wren Music several years ago to encourage men of all ages to get involved in singing. The choir now has around 25 members and meets to rehearse every month. The choir also performs at local venues and events throughout the year.
Visit the MenSing page on our website if you’d like to get involved.
