Two hours of creative movement!
Jenny Read and Jon Dyer will guide you through a range of traditional folk dances. All equipment and full instruction provided, and no experience necessary.
Try morris dancing, longsword formations, solo step dancing and ceilidh social dance.
If you have additional needs (e.g. wheelchair user or other disability) and aren’t sure whether the workshop is for you, please get in touch. We are happy to make adjustments to welcome as many people as possible.
Suitable for adults and children over 8 years.
BONUS: There is also the option to return in the afternoon to help Jenny and Jon write a new dance for Okehampton. This will take place at Ebenezer Hall, North Street from 2.30pm-5pm.
EVENING: There is a ceilidh taking place in the Church Hall from 7.30pm. Tickets are available separately.
