The Devon Inclusive Folk Ensemble is a friendly and welcoming group for children and young people with additional needs and their families to make music together. We have two age groups: 8 – 18 and 16 – 30, which allows a period of overlap for ease of transition.
The Devon Inclusive Folk Ensemble is an opportunity for members to sing and to play music together as a group. We sing traditional folk songs and create our own lyrics. There’s also the chance to try a range of instruments including percussion, fiddles, guitars, accordions and more.
Everyone is welcome to join. We meet at InFocus College at Topsham Road, Countess Wear, Exeter, which is fully accessible for mobility issues and wheelchairs.
The Devon Inclusive Folk Ensemble meets during once a month. For the older group, the session is 2 hours long and is split into sections so you can stay for as much or as little as works for you.
