All Comers Singing Saturday – Exeter

Saturday 31 July 2021 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Southernhay URC, Southernhay East, Exeter, EX1 1QD

Join us for a day of joyful singing in Exeter!

After so long apart we will re-introduce you to the wonderful feeling of singing in the same space as other people again.

Suitable for everyone, whether you have never sung before, are looking to get back into in, or are a regular choir member. There is no need to read music. We will learn a variety of songs in unison and harmony. You will get to explore your voice and gain new confidence in a welcoming and inclusive space.

Everyone who attends this singing day is invited to sing at The Anchor Inn, in Sidmouth on Monday 2 August for an informal performance as part of Sidmouth Folk Week. Attending this singing Saturday is a pre-requisite to singing at the Sidmouth event as it where you will learn the songs that will be performed.

Please bring your own lunch.

This event is led by community musicians Paul, Rebecka and Sarah.

Please book using the button above.

We offer three tickets types:

  • Standard price: £30
  • Supported price: £45
If you feel you are able to pay a little more.
  • Subsidised price: £15
For those on lower incomes and feel the standard price is too much for them at this time

The event will be at Southernhay Church in the centre of the city, close to car parks and public transport stops.

Another All Comers Singing Saturday will take place in Newton Abbot on Saturday 21 August. You are welcome to attend both as the songs we will learn will vary.
