Voices In Common
Wednesdays 7.00 - 9.00pm, 10 week term commences Wednesday 17th January 2007

Devon’s community choir specialising in traditional songs. Local material is mixed with world music, as well as newly written pieces. All voices welcome, no audition necessary, and sight reading not required. This is not a soprano/alto/tenor/bass choir, but works instead with the natural voices of its participants.

10 week term fee: £50 full (£35 concessions); per session fee: £6.50 full (£4.50 concessions)

Youth Groups

Oke Youth Chorus
Wednesdays 3.30 - 4.45pm, from Wednesday 17th January 2007
Okehampton Primary School, Glendale Road, Okehampton, Devon EX20 1JB
Youth chorus, giving children the chance to find their voice, to sing and to have fun with music.
Repertoire includes traditional songs from around the world. New participants from Years 4, 5 and 6 welcome. No experience necessary.

Sox

Campus Choir
Thursdays 5.00 - 6.30pm, from Thursday 10th May 2007
St Sidwell's Centre, Sidwell Street, Exeter, Devon EX4 6NN
An introduction to singing for young people 8 – 14 year olds, giving the chance to find their voices, to sing and to have fun with music. Repertoire includes traditional songs from around the world. No experience is necessary, there are no auditions, no sight-reading, and it is not competitive. There will also be chances to perform during the term.
Leader: Paul Wilson, other Wren singers and members of A Capella Roots.
