Projects ...

Over the years Wren has worked with a myriad of partner organisations to develop and run a variety of projects in many different settings. Whilst each project has its own objectives and a specific target audience, they all share one thing in common – the rigour, quality and professionalism of Wren’s approach and the experience of our Music Leaders.

As well as their artistic talent they also bring the qualities required by skilled educationalists. These include strong people skills and innovative teaching practices as well as a passionate commitment to working creatively with individuals, groups and communities.

Why Partner with Wren

  • Over 30 years of experience in community music projects
  • Experienced Music Leaders, all with Enhanced DBS checks
  • We have "off the shelf" workshops or can tailor projects to your needs
  • We bring all the instruments
  • We can draw upon a rich catalogue of music resources and archives

Working with Partners

Throughout the projects the Wren team work with the staff from partner organisations, involving them with the actual activity, and sharing reflective practice so that workers and organisations from both sides learn from the process. Wren’s staff need support from partners to cope with any emotional consequences of the work, and to be able to identify effective practice and to modify delivery. Partner organisations learn the value of music based project work, how to be effective during workshops and help identifying follow on activities and progression routes for participants.
